WARRANTY: ALL ENGINES COME WITH A 12 MONTH OR 12K MILES WARRANTY ON PARTS ONLY. NO LABOR REIMBURSEMENT, OVERHEATING DUE TO EXTERNAL PART FAILURE WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. INTAKE MANIFOLD NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AS PER MANUFACTURE (CHRYSLER) REQUIREMENT. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL CAUSE SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE NEW ENGINE AND WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR HOSES, RADIATOR, HEATER CORE AND ANY OTHER ACCESSORIES THAT MAY CAUSE THE ENGINE TO OVERHEAT. HEAT TABS ARE IN PLACE MELTED HEAT TABS WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. TAMPERING WITH THE HEAT TABS WILL ALSO VOID THE WARRANTY. FULL SET OF GASKETS AND SEALS IS PROVIDED FOR INSTALLATION. INSTALLER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OIL LEAKS SINCE WE DO NOT INSTALL ANY GASKETS OR SEAL. (IN SOME ENGINES THE REAR MAIN SEAL COMES ALREADY INSTALLED. PLEASE HAVE INSTALLER RECHECK THIS SEAL BEFORE INSTALLATION SINCE WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LABOR DUE TO OIL LEAKS). ENGINE OIL MUST BE REPLACED AFTER THE FIRST 1K MILES AND THEN EVERY 3K MILES TO ENSURE PROPER LUBRICATION, ENGINE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A PROFESSIONAL CERTIFIED SHOP AND INSTALLER AND REGULAR MAINTENANCE PERFORMED. PROVE OF MAINTENANCE MUST BE PROVIDED IN CASE OF A WARRANTY CLAIM.

IN CASE OF A WARRANTY CLAIM: WE WILL ASK TO SPEAK WITH THE CERTIFIED INSTALLER AND HE WILL BE ASK TO PERFORM SOME TEST TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE.

The 5.7 L Hemi was released for model year 2003 on the Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickup trucks to complement the Magnum 5.9 engine. As of 2004 it was the only available gasoline engine in the Ram Heavy Duty. Chrysler later made the 5.7 L Hemi available in all models of the 2004 Dodge Ram, Dodge Durango, the 2005 Chrysler 300C, Dodge Magnum R/T, Jeep Grand Cherokee, the 2006 Dodge Charger R/T, and the 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T. For manual transmission applications (Challenger and 3/4- and 1-ton Ram pickups), cylinder deactivation is not included.

The 5.7 L (345 cu in) Hemi in the Ram delivered 345 hp (257.3 kW) and 398 lbft (540 Nm), but 340 hp (253.5 kW) and 390 lbft (529 Nm) for the 300C and Magnum R/T, which is exactly 100 hp (74.6 kW) more than the old 5.9 engine. It is a 90-degree V8, 2-valve pushrod design like the past Magnum series engines, displacing 5,654 cc (345 cu in), with a bore of 3.917 in (99.49 mm) and a stroke of 3.578 in (90.88 mm).[19]

The 5.7 L Hemi is made at Chrysler’s Saltillo Engine plant in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico.

The Hemi was on the Ward’s 10 Best Engines list for 2003 through 2007, and again in 2009.
